Full-Service Catering Explained

What Does Full Service Catering Look Like?

Full Service Catering is a start-to-finish experience designed to let you enjoy your event while we handle every detail behind the scenes.

From the initial planning stages to final cleanup, our experienced catering team manages the logistics, food service, and presentation so your event runs smoothly and your guests are well taken care of.

What’s Included with Full Service Catering

Our full service offering goes beyond great food. We arrive fully prepared with everything needed to execute a seamless event, including:

  • Freshly prepared food and on-site service
  • Teas and lemonade
  • Ice in chests
  • Bread slider rolls
  • Our full assortment of Maurice’s BBQ sauces
  • Serving utensils and tongs
  • Chafers to keep food hot and properly presented
  • All paper products and disposable service items

Equipment & Presentation Tailored to Your Event

We adjust our equipment and presentation based on the type of event to ensure both functionality and appearance are appropriate.

  • Outdoor corporate and large-scale events
We use covered, wind-resistant chafers designed to perform well in open-air environments.
  • Weddings and upscale events
We prefer our fancier chafers to enhance presentation while keeping food at proper serving temperatures.

For all events, when possible, we use wooden or metal serving bowls paired with metal serving utensils and tongs for a cleaner, more polished look.

Service Ware by Event Type

Weddings & High-End Events
For formal occasions, we prioritize elevated disposable serviceware:

  • Thick plastic plates (white with silver trim or clear)
  • Heavy-duty black plastic utensils (napkin-wrapped or neatly displayed)
  • Clear 16 oz plastic cups
  • BBQ brown paper trays for desserts or salads

All Other Full Service Events
For corporate lunches, picnics, and casual gatherings, we use durable, practical serviceware:

  • 10-inch styrofoam 3-compartment plates
  • Cutlery kits (fork, knife, spoon, salt & pepper, napkin)
  • 16 or 20 oz styrofoam drinking cups
  • Napkin dispensers
  • BBQ brown paper trays for desserts or salads

The Bottom Line

Full service catering means more than food delivery—it means professional execution, thoughtful presentation, and experienced staff managing every detail. Whether your event is casual or formal, indoor or outdoor, our goal is simple:

You enjoy the event. We take care of everything else.
